A great opportunity within a leading global wealth management client, who is looking to engage with experienced HR procurement professionals for an exciting position within their Indirects team.  

Due to internal progression and expansion, my client is looking to bring in exceptional procurement talent to lead the category strategy across their HR services spend, including Recruitment, Training, Employee Benefits, Payroll, etc.   As a category expert in this space, you will bring your knowledge of the spend area to build and implement a successful category plan that produces increased value, efficiency and ROI across the supply base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading Tender processes (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) to ensure the selection of the most appropriate Supplier partners

  • Deliver synergies/cost savings through collaborating with key stakeholders across group operations

  • Spend Management & monitoring, incl. regular Category activity trend analysis

  • Negotiation of contractual terms and commercial aspects with suppliers

  • Delivery of in-year and annualised Savings targets to Budget, ensuring clear and auditable benefits tracking including sign off working with Commercial/Finance

  • Influencing and establishing company-wide procurement practices to achieve the objective of a ‘Stronger Together’ business

  • To develop PSL and manage relationships with strategic Suppliers, including contract and performance management

Key Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years Procurement or related Commercial experience, ideally in related Category / Sub-Category areas

  • Relationship management, build and maintain key Stakeholder relationships at all levels including C Level

  • Leading on Tendering activity; Contract and Supplier Relationship Management

  • Risk Management
