Temporary Assistant Procurement Manager
Exciting development opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to progress within a FTSE 100 Global Retail Brand.
- Do you have experience of managing a varied workload?
- Do you have the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders across different business areas?
- Do you have good commercial knowledge such as; managing suppliers, supporting procurement activity, reviewing or drafting high value contracts?
If so, my client would be interested in speaking with you about the Assistant Procurement Manager position.
This contract will be for an initial 6-months on a temporary basis.
This role will manage all areas of corporate travel spend globally including air, hotel, taxi, train and car rental as well as group bookings, meetings and events.
You will be developing relationships with preferred suppliers to provide the best possible experience for internal clients as well as helping to control overall travel and expense budgets.
You will be providing a high level of customer service in day to day operational tasks, procurement activities and some key category initiatives.
