As a Category Manager you will lead and influence defined areas of spend with LCC, for all aspects of procurement and demand management, manage specific strategic procurement projects and deliver against an agreed work plan.
Category expertise in ICT, Corporate or Regeneration preferably gained within a public sector environment is required. Most important however is drive, ambition, creativity, influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment at the cutting edge of public sector procurement.
Almost £6 billion of regeneration has transformed the city since 2012, with another £13 billion in the pipeline over the next decade.
Our plans include delivering 10,000 new homes, a new cruise terminal, a £25 million TV and film studio, £500 million investment in our road network and 2 million sq ft of commercial office space.
