Software IT Procurement Manager - IT Category - £Multi-Million Spends - FTSE100 Professional Services Firm -- London + Flexible Working - £75,000 + Lucrative Package

This Global Professional Services firm is growing their Procurement Function in the UK, and as such they are looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to lead on the Software IT Category. Managing £Multi-Million Procurement spends across Software, including ERP and Enterprise Agreements, the successful candidate can look forward to engagement with Global Procurement Executives and excellent career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities; Software IT Procurement Manager

  • Leading Software Procurement strategies across the UK, liaising with global counterparts to ensure alignment on Global IT Procurement Strategies
  • Negotiating with key suppliers to achieve outstanding cost savings across the business, working with businesses such as IBM, Oracle and SAP, leveraging on global relationships whilst ensuring best value is consistently delivered
  • Negotiating and managing £Multi-Million across the business; ensuring the optimum value is achieved for both clients and the business
  • Learning from Senior Procurement Managers, understanding internal stakeholder expectations and promoting the value of the Procurement Function internally

Procurement Skills and Background Required:

  • Extensive experience across the full Procurement process within the Software IT Category, with an excellent working knowledge of ERP and Enterprise Agreements
  • A CV demonstrating excellent cost savings as a result of a strategic sourcing approach across the IT Category, preferably within a multi-national organisation
  • Experienced in complex negotiations on software products that require development and services alongside them
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship skills; able to interact with and influence Senior Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Strong academics, minimum 2:1 degree required (or equivalent), CIPS preferred
