The postholder will provide a professional procurement service including, stakeholder engagement, tendering, commercial negotiation and supplier management. At all times ensuring that value for money is achieved and ensuring that procurement decisions consider financial, environmental, health & safety and ethical policies and regulations.
Skills and experience
Do you have or are you studying towards a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or have relevant job-related experience in this field?
Do you have experience adhering to legal requirements, financial regulations and procedures?
Do you have broad procurement experience in the public sector or with a large complex multi-site organisation?
Are you able to take personal responsibility for a busy workload to meet crucial deadlines?
