It continues to be a very busy and exciting time in Supply Chain as the Function undergoes a Transformation Programme to ensure we are aligned and integrated into the Build Delivery organisation. It is imperative we, as a team, change to enable us to deliver first class products and services to our Customer whilst assuring quality, cost and schedule. Would you like the opportunity to be part of a large scale, fast paced programme? Do you have previous Procurement/Supply Chain experience? We currently have openings within our Submarines team which will provide you with this type of opportunity. These opportunities include: Procurement Professionals, Procurement Leaders and Supply Chain Managers.

For these opportunities we would be looking for candidates to demonstrate skill sets that include the following:

 For Management Opportunities:

  • A high level of management experience and business acumen gained within a Procurement/Supply Chain environment
  • Experience of managing a team in a pressurised and highly regulated environment
  • Ability to address performance issues and provide suitable resolutions 
  • Risk Management and Continuous Improvement experience 
  • Demonstrable experience of recognising changing demands in the Project Life Cycle
  • MCIPS qualification or related industry qualification

For Procurement Professional/Leader Opportunities:

  • Knowledge of and experience within a Supply Chain environment
  • Demonstrable understanding of building knowledge of supplier operations and working with them to optimise their service 
  • Experience of working on large contracts and negotiating terms and conditions
  • Proven track record of supporting stakeholder engagement within a highly regulated environment
  • Ability to understand and develop cost management
  • Experience of ERP Systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of managing, analysing data and generating reports
  • CIPS Qualification

Salary: £Competitive and Dependent on Experience
