We are currently recruiting for a Private Sector Procurement & Technology Service Provider which work in the Private, Public and 3rd Sectors throughout the UK to drive efficiency and deliver major cost savings for their Customers. Our Client is looking to recruit 2 experienced Procurement Consultants for their growing team to provide Procurement Services to assigned Customers. These opportunities are permanent positions with a salary range of £45 – 55,000.00 on offer (depending on experience) and this role will be a mixture of home based with travel throughout the UK.
Reporting to the Director of Procurement Services this role will require you to develop deep customer relationships through the the provision of technical advice, solution design, consultancy support and procurement services. You will be required to develop new and grow/retain existing business opportunities with key accounts and manage multiple stakeholder relationships that help position our client as a ‘procurement partner’ of choice. The role will require you to develop bespoke commercial proposals and take the lead on service delivery and project management as and when required. This client facing role requires individuals with deep procurement / asset knowledge and strong commercial awareness, who can build trust-based relationships with senior level stakeholders and implement tailored procurement solutions within our social housing and wider public sector client base.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE the following experience:
- Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards or equivalent experience/qualifications
- Strong understand of running OJEU and PCR Procurements in the Public Sector
- Track record of delivering savings / value for money for the Public Sector
- Successful experience of key Account and Stakeholder Management
- Proven success of winning new business and negotiating in complex stakeholder environments
- Full UK Driving Licence
